The Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters in Portland, Oregon have once again updated their tactics; now, they have begun attacking residents in their homes and harassing them for having differing beliefs.
After Antifa and BLM’s nightly violent demonstrations in Portland was once again declared to be a riot on Wednesday, August 6, the mob dispersed and began attacking residents in their homes as well as in the streets. One of the residents that was attacked was a middle-aged woman living near the Portland Police Bureau’s (PPB) East Precinct in the Southeast Portland neighborhood.
The homeowner was standing right outside her own door, still firmly in her own property, when she was suddenly surrounded by an angry Antifa mob clad in all-black who began screaming at her for supposedly wearing an armband with a swastika symbol on it.
Not clear that she's wearing a "Nazi armband", just a patch on her right sleeve, which could be anything. I have a jacket not a metre away from me with a design in a similar place. We've seen so many false Nazi claims by now, that until I see a clear picture of it, then BS.

“Take it off! Take it off, you Nazi!” screamed one man, who was invading the woman’s private property by being on her lawn.
At one point, several demonstrators began trying to blind the woman by pointing green lasers at her face. The woman was heard at one point screaming “I didn’t say anything racist!”
The woman was also filmed trying to defend herself from the violent mob by trying to shove them away and telling them to get off her property. However, the rioters stood their ground and told her to go inside her home, warning that they would start physically assaulting her if she did not.
One man wearing a blue t-shirt tried to force the woman back into her home by opening her door and trying to push her inside. The woman resisted, which is when the man and several other nearby rioters tried to rip off her armband, which sent her running back into her home for safety.
“It was pretty surreal,” said Laura Jedeed, who filmed the encounter. “They needed her to stop being a Nazi.” (Related: Black journalist stabbed in the back at Portland protest was targeted for being conservative.)
Jedeed said that, after she stopped filming, a rioter threw something at the woman’s window, breaking it and making the crowd cheer and laugh.

Also on Wednesday night, two large groups of organized rioters met at two different locations in Portland. One group gathered at the Multnomah County Justice Center in downtown Portland, where most of the rioting occurs, and another went to Floyd Light City Park in the Southeast Portland neighborhood. The park is directly southeast of the PPB’s East Precinct building.
The PPB said that, at around 9:30 p.m., the mob of several hundred people began marching to the East Precinct building. As soon as they arrived, they began shining green lasers and other very strong lights at officers. Other people spray painted surveillance cameras and tried to remove them, while several others tried to obstruct the view of the officers inside by spray painting the doors into the building.

By 9:45 p.m. the gathering was declared an unlawful assembly, which prompted the mob to begin escalating by attacking the precinct’s glass doors. One of the doors was cracked and nearly shattered. At 10 p.m., the assembly was declared a riot and the demonstrators were told that if they did not disperse the PPB will be forced to use crowd control agents such as tear gas.
Even as the PPB were repeatedly warning the rioters to back off, they continued trying to break into the building by pounding on the glass doors, hoping that one will eventually break. Several officers reported having to dodge as fireworks and an assortment of items were repeatedly thrown at them, including “rocks the size of shot puts.”
The first tear gas canisters were launched at around 10:10 p.m., which caused the violent mob to momentarily scatter and reform around a block away from the East Precinct. A press release sent out by the PPB early on Thursday stated that the officers had to use tear gas and other crowd control munitions “because of life safety issues created by members in the group.”
As PPB officers were dispersing the crowd, a truck tried to run over several of the officers.
By 10:20 p.m., PPB reported that the rioters began throwing eggs at the officers. They responded by charging at the mob and tacking several people in the crowd. Right around the same time, the PPB began cordoning off the area directly outside the East Precinct because they believed a suspicious object left outside of the building could have been an explosive device. The bureau’s report released the next morning showed that the device was later found not to be an explosive.
The crowd was still going strong by midnight, and they started throwing balloons filled with paint to obstruct the visions of the officers wearing gas masks. By 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, the PPB said most of the mob had finally left. Eight arrests were made that night, with only two of the individuals confirmed to be living in Portland. Some of the agitators came from as far as Minneapolis in Minnesota and Lexington in Kentucky.
Now that President Trump’s federal law enforcement officers have left Portland, the city’s Antifa chapter is going to get even stronger. Stay tuned to their latest actions by subscribing to AntifaWatch.news.
