Depending on the color of your skin, you could be offered different rates and prices for financial products from American Express.
Thanks to the company’s new “Anti-Racism Initiative,” people with black skin are slated to get better deals from American Express as part of its “woke” reparations plan.
Khalil Muhammad was brought in by the company to help it differentiate between “privileged” employees, meaning white employees, and “marginalized groups,” which include everyone else.
During his paid “training” session, Muhammad told American Express employees that they should charge their black customers lower premiums than their white customers.
Multiple employees have since accused the company of engaging in “reverse discrimination” by promoting non-white employees over white employees.
One of them was told by a supervisor: “It would be advantageous and important for me to note that I am a minority when I apply for internal promotions.”
Company CEO Stephen Squeri is credited with being the brainchild behind many of these initiatives, having launched a 2020 program that involved spending $1 billion to promote “Racial, Ethnic and Gender Equity.”
Squeri often rambles on about “climate change” as well, and even participated in a corporate pile-on against the election integrity legislation that was passed in Georgia to try to prevent another 2020 election theft type of situation from occurring again.
Meanwhile, American Express is embroiled in numerous scandals that have prompted investigations from the likes of the Treasury Department, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Federal Reserve.
American Express has been accused of issuing phantom credit cards, as well as engaging in shady sales practices. The company had to pay $112 million in fines after it was caught deceptively strong-arming its customers into paying illegal late fees.
Ironically, American Express was also found by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau of discriminating “against consumers in Puerto Rico and the U.S. territories by providing them with less-favorable financial products and services,” despite supposedly having a strong commitment to “diversity.”
American Express was forced to pay the customers it discriminated against in both Puerto Rico and the U.S. territories $96 million in a settlement
Questions have also arisen as to American Express’s lax business practices that have enabled criminals to move their money through the company. In one instance, a subsidiary of American Express provided an engineer allegedly part of a black market nuclear network with credit cards.
In another case, the Department of Justice (DoJ) fined American Express $65 million after discovering that its money laundering detection program (had serious and systemic deficiencies).” of them
The simple answer to all of this is to just not do business with American Express. The company hates you if you are white, and would rather cater to criminals than provide honest and fair financial products and services to its customers.
“I’m not happy to hear about the reverse discrimination, but it’s in every public company,” wrote a Breitbart News commenter about how this type of thing plagues much of corporate America.
“The CEOs are always cowards that are scared to death of making the boards angry. As a result, they fold to the woke pukes to avoid negative attention.”
Another wrote that there are no conservative credit card companies, or really any type of companies. Most of them, it seems, have been infiltrated by the far-left mob, and are now being turned into anti-white activist organizations.
“There’s no conservative: credit card company, amazon type service, cell phone maker, cable provider, car maker, Disneyland type competitor, etc.,” this person added. “They are all WOKE to some degree, it’s maddening how we continue to support them.”
