No matter how far they bend over and kneel, corporations will never be able to placate the demands of today’s racially-motivated social justice warriors. Corporations are currently being forced to meet “diversity goals” to purge their organization of white people and to build a more inclusive environment that hires equally among each race. However, human relation departments are having a difficult time hiring for skilled positions based solely on the color of someone’s skin. After all, excluding whites to make the workforce appear racially equitable, is in itself, a judgmental, authoritarian pursuit of racism.
Wells Fargo CEO Charles Scharf recently said that their bank finds it difficult to hire more black people because “the unfortunate reality is that there is a very limited pool of black talent to recruit from.” Wells Fargo, like other banks and corporations, are forced to turn down skilled workers if they have white skin because the bank must meet their diversity quota.
Even though corporations have to exclude capable workers because they have white skin, racially-motivated social justice warriors think these white CEOs aren’t doing enough to hire other races. NY representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to Wells Fargo CEO in a tweet: “Perhaps it’s the CEO of Wells Fargo who lacks the talent to recruit Black workers.”
Wells Fargo CEO Charles Scharf was forced to apologize for not meeting diversity goals because he wasn’t doing enough to exclude white people from the organization. Scharf said his comment revealed his own “unconscious bias.” In a statement, Scharf said he’s sorry his comments were misinterpreted. “The financial industry and our company do not reflect the diversity of our population,” he said in a statement tweeted by the company, adding, “We, at Wells Fargo are committed to driving change and improving diversity and inclusion.”
Now, Scharf is making a commitment to double the number of black leaders at Wells Fargo over the next five years. In order to reach diversity goals, Well Fargo will now require hiring managers to select candidates based on the diverse color of their skin for all high paying positions. The bank will also require interview teams that have sufficient skin color diversity.
In an official apology, Scharf commits to a new hiring structure that prioritizes diversity over merit and skill level. “There are many talented diverse individuals working at Wells Fargo and throughout the financial services industry and I never meant to imply otherwise. I’ve worked in the financial services industry for many years, and it’s clear to me that, across the industry, we have not done enough to improve diversity, especially at senior leadership levels. And there is no question Wells Fargo has to make meaningful progress to increase diverse representation.”
Filling diversity quotas is the embodiment of racism, discrimination and segregation. These forced diversity programs exclude talented employees based on the color of their skin (white) while making a mockery of the African American community (from which countless men and women have risen by their own merit to achieve their goals). Hard working and talented African American people do not want to be treated like entitled half-wits, who get promoted to positions based on their skin color. (Related: Black Lives Matter now operating as the new Mafia, shaking down Louisville businesses and demanding racial hiring quotas.)
By joining in with the race-baiting social justice warriors and their crusade of exclusion, entitlement and weakness, Wells Fargo makes a mockery of their corporate culture and spits on the hard work, dedication and character of any current or future employee.
